AAST Labs is a specialized educational and research facility delivered by Benaa Limited Construction (BLC) within the Smart Village campus. The project involved the development of advanced laboratory spaces designed to support hands-on learning, technical training, and applied research across multiple disciplines.
BLC was responsible for MEP design and project management for two full floors of laboratories, ensuring full coordination between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to meet the operational demands of high-performance lab environments. The scope covered computer labs, technical labs, and equipment-intensive spaces, each requiring precise power distribution, ventilation, lighting, and safety considerations.
The design adopted a functional, industrial aesthetic aligned with laboratory standards, with exposed services, durable finishes, and flexible workstation layouts. Special attention was given to equipment integration, user safety, and long-term operational efficiency.
The successful delivery of AAST Labs demonstrates BLC’s expertise in managing technically complex educational projects and delivering fully coordinated laboratory environments to institutional standards.
